I have been working on my family tree since 2011. Some lines, no problem. I am black, white, Chinese, native american, and maybe a dab of this and that. It just a hobby, but I get so frustrated, slavery was wicked. You look at me and see everything, yet without being able to go back on some lines, I am lost in a wilderness of lost or ill-kept records. I did find out that everyone alive today is related one way or another. We all come from great royal houses, I believe 5, throughout the world.
We are all royalty. If only we acted like it.
