It's easy to tell another that they must forgive another but what if I explain to you in a mathematical way? A preacher is teaching the Word by day. But by night he is sneaking out to some "lost" females house that is not his wife. And he isn't planning to make her his wife. Then he hurts her by leaving her. And another, and another and another.
He hurts her. Her children see that hurt. They grew up and they don't care too much about what he was teaching. He hurt her and her siblings don't care too much about what he was teaching. Nor do her girlfriends, her cousins, her parents, the list just grows.
No matter how much positive that preacher is doing, if multiplied by even one negative, the outcome will always be a negative every time.
