Once upon a time my grandparents were married 60 years. Once upon a time women didn't shake their assets in music videos. Once upon a time my grandparents raised their children, together. Once upon a time my grandfather paid the bills, kept a roof over his family's heads, and grandma stayed at home to raise the children, tend to the house. Once upon a time my grandfather was the head, he listened to grandma, but the final decisions weighed down his shoulders. Once upon a time led to a happily ever after, but those times are long gone. Now days women are the heads. No one marries, at least 60% of black women are single, doing the work grandpa and grandma did. Alone.
Well, I better get ready for sleep, gotta get up in the morning to go to work, pay them bills, save for some flooring....
