A Pound of Flesh is All They Need

I heard it said a few years ago that success comes in doing what good we are taught and saying good what we hear. We were taught to be respectful of others, especially our own brothers/sisters. So, why do you, who claim to be a believer in some kind of truth, who claim to religiously follow some kind of religion, live such a life?! Why isn't your condition better than what it is? Why do you rather lie and manipulate your so called family, than to lift them up?  Why would you rather leach onto to the already struggling, draining them physically/mentally until they wither away and die, leaving you to drain another?

I have been told the reason one treats another in a manner worse than an outsider would is because of the treatment they may have received from others. That's bullshit. You are born with a mind to control. You are responsible for your own actions. You take from others, never giving, always expecting your stretched hand to be filled with what others are expected to give. You are lazy. You are like a leach who would think nothing of even draining the life force out of your own children. If they let you.

I think we all know a leach or two. Some of us know many. It's a sad sad thing, but sometimes the only way to scrape a leach from your flesh is to either cut it off with a knife made hot by the fire (truth), salt (bitter truth), or pulling it off and crushing it under your shoe (crushing truth).

Anyone who has ever removed a leach from her flesh will know how to prevent another leach from grabbing hold in the future.
