True Love

Thru doing the tree, I am finding that blood may be indeed thicker than water, yes, but love is what binds a family.  I am seeing a whole lot of men marry a woman with children, then he raises those children as his own, and those are they who you see taking care of that man, in later census, until the end of his time.  To me, that is love, when someone can love another man’s child as if they came from his own loins.

 My tree may have the man whose name is on the certificate as the father, but the preferred name (the name that shows on the tree) is the one who changed everyone’s last name to his own.
