Give it up to Raise Minimum Wage

Ok. Say minimum wage is raised to $15 an hour. Does that mean those who are getting paid the current min wage will no longer qualify for food stamps and medical benefits for their families? Does it mean that states save money by dropping those families from receiving benefits? Does it mean that some households no longer qualify for heat energy assistance in the winter? What really changes when minimum wage is raised to $15 an hour?
