Devilish is other people, its you, its me and how you treat your wife, your family, other people. It's what you do to get what you want, and how you toss people aside like yesterday's trash when you're done with them. Its how you take, yet never give. It's how you say you will do something for another and never show up, never explain because you feel that everyone should feel lucky that you ever spoke to them.
Devilish is to preach one thing, yet, in secret, do another. Devilish is to be among the hurt and wish evil thoughts of those that constantly hurt you. Devilish is not wanting to get hurt, so you stop trusting everyone.
The devil is a contagious social disease that slithers about trying to hurt everyone in its path. The devil lies in wait on those that attend the religious buildings, hurting some so bad that, even though they believe in the Truth, its the very possessed people that frighten them and keep them away.
