Take care of the shoes you already have

I don't buy new shoes if the ones I have are in nice condition and there is nothing wrong with the shoes I have. One should care for the shoes they have at home before going out trying on as many shoes as they want. Knowing they can't afford to pay for even one pay for all the shoes the are trying to wear.
