Most civilizations have a rights of passage for their boys. It might be why we have so many problems. Women raising boys to be men alone. Boys grow up not really understanding what their roll and responsibility as a man are. Women with children don't always have the luxury of moving back in the home of her youth. Especially with children. So, women, not knowingly, teach her daughters hard, to be successful, independent, because there is a chance she will be alone. Its taught like a warrior teaches a youngn for battle. Strategies. We teach our daughters survival skills. We teach our sons, but we, women, are unknowingly harder on our daughters. We know nothing of teaching a boy to
be a man.

We want them our daughters to fare better in life than we have. We learned it from our mothers who raise us alone, we pass it to our daughter, who, in turn, will pass this knowledge to theirs.

All successful men had some dedicated man in their lives. Be it a father, male relative, someone at their religious house or neighborhood who taught them to be man.

We need to do better. In our families. In how we treat each other. In our communities. We need to learn to be a tribe or we will become part of a lost civilization.
